SERVICE TEAMS @ COPS
This is where we put our faith into action! As we are going about our daily routine, we wish to serve other people just as Jesus did when he was on the earth. He helped others, he served others, he did whatever he could to help them, love them, and show them that he was, indeed, truly concerned about them as individuals, groups, communities, etc.

Co-Workers’ Service Teams are groups of people (usually lay people) within our church, as well as those who may just want to come along and join us, that go out into the community to serve, serve the church, serve one another, serve in other communities or even in other countries. The sky is the limit.
​
These groups are as simple as the person who sets up for a communion service, or who makes a pot of coffee for us here at church, to a missionary in a foreign country, and everything in-between.
​
While this area focuses more on 'groups' of people serving as a team, we also encourage one another in our church to live this out in their day-to-day lives as individuals, not just in a group setting. That is what Jesus did. He was real. We need to strive to be as 'real' as Jesus was, which is what our church teaches and encourages everyone in the congregation to do.
Prayer Team
A team fully-devoted to prayer, who will accept your prayer requests, keep them confidential if desired, and sharing what information is allowed with others to intercede on your behalf. Additionally, this group prays for our church, our community, and more.
Hospitality Team
This is a group of men and women that do all sorts of different things around the church and the community. They are usher, bake, cook, clean, and more to help get the church and community to connect.
Music and Ministry Team
This team consists of musicians (keyboardist, accoustic, bass, electric guitarist, worship leaders, praise singers, multi-media audio and visual support, and others.) This team plans for music and for weekly worship services and other events.
Children Ministry Team
A group of adults and youth volunteer to lead children's worship, teach Bible lessons, lead crafts.
Young People Team
A group of adult volunteers who help plan events for the young people, and be there to help those that may need a friend to talk to or confide in.
Events & Annual Bible Camp Planning Team
This team works throughout the year planning for our church events and annual bible camp programs.
Communion Setup Team
This team ensures that the elements for communion services are prepared, set up and cleaned up afterward.
Housekeeping & Grounds Maintenance
This is a group of people that help take care of our chapels, chairs, tables, common corridors, banners, posters, and much more.
Outreach Missions
In the near future, this team had and will continue planning church-wide missions trips to Philippines, Thailand, China and other countries. Currently, this team assists our church in providing financial and hands-on support to other foreign and domestic missions.
